About

Lin Tan is a Melbourne-based freelance writer, the Editor of Trespass Magazine, Features Writer at Onya Mag, and weekly blog reviewer at Go. She’s originally from Malaysia but spent her formative years living in London.  Her ‘tri-brid’ background (philosophy, business, chef) most likely explains her upstairs mix-up. She loves writing about everything, from reviews to opinion pieces to short fiction and poetry.

Other works can be found in Beat, Lost At E MinorFUCMAcclaim, Express Media’s BuzzcutsLOTL,Fasterlouder, and some others she won’t bore you with

She’s also done some creative writing work for art group, The Mapping Room at the 2009 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

She’s currently (sort of) working on a series of short fiction & poetry under the larger heading: ‘Halfway Heart’. They are stories/poems about the varied instances of love. Some are a work in progress, others are still stuck in her head. One or two, or maybe three of them shall be published soon.

One of them (this one) can be found published in LOTL Magazine, a winner for their first poetry contest.
